CELTIC, Central Gaul. Aedui. 50-30 BC. Cast unit (Potin, 19 mm, 4.87 g, 3 h), 'Dreigehörnter Stierkopf' Type. Helmeted head to right. Rev. Horned animal with bull’s head prancing right. Allen 315. Gäumann 21. LT 5253. SLM 558. Very rare. A beautiful piece with a glossy dark patina. Extremely fine.
